Dr. Birgit Kunze

Dr. Birgit Kunze is the managing partner of Kunze Legal Consulting. 

Before founding Kunze Legal Consulting in April 2013, Birgit was an Executive Director in the Legal & Compliance Division of Morgan Stanley in London and advised Morgan Stanley’s electricity, gas & LNG trading desks.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Birgit worked for RWE Supply & Trading GmbH in London as a senior commodities trading lawyer, advising RWE’s electricity, gas, coal, oil & LNG trading operations. Birgit originally joined RWE in Germany in 1999 to support RWE’s electricity generation business.

Birgit studied law at the Universities of Regensburg (Germany) and Geneva (Switzerland), is qualified as a solicitor in Germany and England & Wales, and holds an MBA from London Business School.
